Deja Jackson
My name is Deja Jackson, LCSWA. I became a Raleigh resident in 2014, but I have lived in NC most of my life. I graduated from Elizabeth City with a bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2014. During this time, I discovered my true desire to help people struggling with mental health in a bigger capacity. I decided to go back to school and get my master’s degree and was accepted into the Walden University Social Work Program. I graduated with my MSW degree in February 2021. The populations I work with are older teenagers, young adults, and adults.
I adopted my Co-Therapist Bandit in February of 2022 from the Wake County Animal Shelter. Bandit is quiet, playful, handsome, and does not always recognize his size, he sometimes acts as a small lap dog. Bandit gets excited to meet new people and always shows them how much he has missed them (even if they met for the first time).

I've been taking a lot of naps lately, tired from all the therapizing (snuggling) I've been doing, so I haven't gotten around to working on my "About Me" section yet. But stayed tuned!
