Abe Preciado
Abe earned a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Spring Arbor University in 2009. He is currently a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with 10 years of experience in the field of mental health. Providing counseling services for children, adolescents, adults and families struggling with depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, anger, life transitions, emotional instability, self-injury and relational and family issues.
His experience includes Intensive In-Home services provided throughout the community. Some areas of specialty include depression, self-esteem issues, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, anxiety, bipolar disorder, parenting issues, autism and Christian counseling. He is trained and certified in Positive Parenting Program (Triple P).
He is passionate about helping individuals and families communicate effectively and strengthen relational bonds. He tends to emphasize a Person-Centered approach utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Family Structure Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and incorporating a variety of techniques based on each client's individual needs, strengths and preferences.
